While it is common knowledge that most women suffer from morning sickness in the beginning of their pregnancy, it is not so well known that they can also suffer from nausea in late pregnancy as well. A tell-tale sign of pregnancy is a feeling of morning sickness. It is normally part of the initial symptoms of becoming pregnant. During morning sickness, it is pretty normal for pregnant women to have a sense of illness in the evening, afternoon and even prior to eating and afterwards. So morning sickness can be somewhat misleading since it can happen during hours other than just the morning in the initial three months of pregnancy. Read the full post

A woman’s body changes when she is pregnant and in the last trimester because the baby is much bigger the mother may experience discomforts such as nausea, heartburn and vomiting during pregnancy. Because of the baby’s size there isn’t as much room in the mothers stomach for too much food but she should still ensure that she is eating because both her and her baby need the nutrients to maintain health. The mother should eat small meals and can try sitting in different positions to stop the pressure on the stomach which in turn will help to keep then nausea away. Read the full post

Morning sickness begins around the fourth week of pregnancy for most women and usually subsides by week sixteen. For some women it may last quite a bit longer. While it is not known what actually causes morning sickness, it is believed to be a combination of all the hormonal and physical changes taking place in the body simultaneously.
Even though morning sickness only lasts for eight to twelve weeks, for most women, it can make those few weeks very challenging and at times extremely miserable. Read the full post

The 17th week of pregnancy is perhaps the most exciting week of your pregnancy. This is because this is the usual time when you first start feeling the little life that is growing inside you. This starts off as little fluttering movements as the baby starts moving in the uterus. At first you may not even notice them but as they become more frequent, you will unconsciously place your hand on your stomach to see if you can feel anything. If you do have on extra weight, you may not feel it at this point, but you can be looking for it. Those who are slimmer may actually feel movement before the 17th week. Read the full post

Pregnancy vomiting and nausea changes the way a pregnant woman goes about her day. Things that would normally have given her comfort, are now throwing her off.
Before I was pregnant, I’d wake up around 5:30 in the morning to the smell of coffee brewing; coffee that my husband always made before going to work, and had been doing so every morning for the previous three years. Read the full post

Do you ever hear things like, “You have to experience nausea for a healthy pregnancy” or “If you don’t get morning sickness, your baby will probably not develop properly.”
I’m sure you’ve heard these types of things somewhere (hopefully it wasn’t a friend telling you this kind of stuff.) You never know what you can believe because everyone has their own ideas about what’s going on in their pregnancy. It is probably because every pregnancy is different, so what is true for them must be true for everyone else. Read the full post
