Not all women know what the best times to get pregnant are. And yes, there are times that are generally much more successful than others. Each woman has her own reproductive cycle, not all women are the same.
But for most women their ovulation (highest chance of conception) occurs about two weeks before the next menstrual period. If you usually have a 28 day cycle that means that it will be day 14 that you are most fertile. Some women have cycles that don’t fit into the “normal” range, so if your cycle is normally about 36 days long your highest chance of conception would be on day 22 of your cycle. Read the full post

Fertile Calender You and your partner hold determined that you look for to have a baby. You know the current possessing sex on hand the second you are ovulating is the best way for you to get pregnant, but how do you can identify when that happens? If you own a ordinary cycle you should be able to determine approximately when you are ovulating fairly easily just by using a calendar and counting the number of days in your cycle. While this sucker the most reliable way to determine when ovulation will arise it is one of the easiest ways to determine when you are fertile. What you want to do is first determine your cycle length. Mark on the calendar the day that your period starts. That day is the first day of your menstrual cycle. Then count the days in your cycle until your next menstrual period starts. Do not count the day that your period starts because it is actually the first day of your next cycle. This will tell you how long your menstrual cycle is. Once you know how long your cycles are you can determine your most fertile days. Since most women have a 12 to 14 day luteal phase (the time from ovulation until when your next period starts) you can calculate your most fertile days just by knowing when your next period is due. Counting back 14 days from your last menstrual period will give you a good idea of when you will ovulate. If you typically have a 28 day cycle, ovulation would take place sometime around cycle day 15. Fertile Calender To improve your chances of conception you should determine your fertile window. Your fertile window starts 5 days before ovulation and ends the day after ovulation. Using your calendar you can count backwards by 19 days (14 days plus 5) to determine the start of your fertile window and then count back 13 days to determine the last day of your fertile window. Your egg only lives for about 12 to 24 hours once it is released but sperm can live up to 5 days in fertile cervical fluid inside your vagina. Having intercourse on the days leading up to ovulation when you have fertile cervical fluid and continuing to have intercourse until the day after ovulation occurs will greatly improve your chances of conception. Since the calendar method of predicting ovulation is not completely reliable you may want to look for other signs of ovulation to help you know when you are the most fertile. Some signs that you are ovulating include ovulation pain which may feel like cramping or a pinching pain on one side, an increase in cervical fluid, bloating, an increased sex drive, breast tenderness, mild nausea, and some women notice light spotting around ovulation.
